Football Weekend TV Preview - Oct. 29-30

As Week 7 fades into Week 8 in the NFL, we heard more about Giants kicker Josh Brown than the performances on the field. This week’s primetime games, are unusually competitive and should finally promise some decent football. Certainly, Sunday night’s showdown between divisional rivals Philadelphia and Dallas promises to be a great football game -- finally.

Otherwise this week also features six teams on byes, so there just 13 games in total and only two at 4pm EST. There are some good matchups and that will make up for the limited number of games. Also, don’t forget the 9:30am London game between Washington and Cincinnati. A good game that should generate some early morning interest.

EAST - CENTRAL -  MOUNTAIN - PACIFIC

With only four games between ranked opponents, NCAA Week 9 isn’t filled with amazing football. However, those four games are pretty solid. Certainly, (7) Nebraska versus (11) Wisconsin at 7pm should be a great matchup, and the PAC12 tilted between (4) Waashington and (17) Utah will be an important game for bowl watching purposes.

The game of the week, however, will certainly be Georgia against (14) Florida for the World’s Largest Outdoor Cocktail Party. So, grab a little Southern Comfort and join the fray.
